Dialup Installation for win95/98

Configuring Windows 95/98 for GGE dialup access.

• Open the My Computer icon.
• Double click on Dial-Up Networking

• Double click Make New Connection.
• Enter GGE in the name field then click Next.

• Type the area 281 and phone number 220-4916 GGE dialup.
• Click Next.
• You are now finished with the setup wizard. Click Finish.

• After the setup wizard has completed it will create a GGE icon (in Dial-Up Networking). Highlight the GGE icon, click FILE then PROPERTIES.
• Click the Server Types tab. Uncheck ‘Log On to the Network’, ‘NetBEUI’ and ‘IPX/SPX’.
• Now click TCP/IP Settings.

• Click 'Server assigned name server addresses'.
• After clicking OK twice you will be put back into Dial-Up Networking.
• To connect, double click the GGE Icon, enter your USERNAME and PASSWORD (in lowercase only), then click CONNECT.
• After a minute or two you will be connected to GGE. Open your web browser (Internet explorer, Netscape, etc…)
